I have been playing piano for more than 20 years. Having started with classical piano training with Rolf Knieper in Karlsruhe, my focus shifted towards Jazz during my Ph.D. time in Heidelberg where I took lessons with local piano guru Johannes Bartmes. In Paris, I was studying at the EDIM Jazz school.
I am maintaining a page containing a discography of Brad Mehldau. I adore his recordings "the art of the trio". You can feel the excitement of the audience when listening to his version of Countdown or Monk's Dream. I will try to keep the discography up to date.
